Good Day

This weekend was freaking fantastic. No other way to put it. Despite the fact that I slept in until 10:45 both days, I feel like I got so much done and completely rejuvenated myself!

Yesterday I mainly did a ton of schoolwork. I did my math homework for the next two weeks and studied for upcoming chemistry and biology tests.

Later that night, Vince and I went out to dinner at Cuisine of India, one of our favorite places to eat. It's family run and they ALWAYS remember us! We used to go weekly, and sometimes even twice a week, so now every time we go they always ask, 'Where have you been?!' It's so funny. Last night they even said, 'We haven't seen you since February when you brought all of your friends!' I had to laugh at that because they must really love us if they remember things like that.

After dinner we went to Bookman's where I got a book (The Pact by Jodi Picoult) and hot chocolate, and Vince got some chai tea. Then we went next door to Hastings and rented the movie In Time with Justin Timberlake. I laughed because the back said is was a 'sexy, stylish thriller' and it wasn't very sexy or stylish at all! There was one sexy seen but all they did was kiss. It was a surprisingly great movie, though, given that I thought it was going to be bad because Justin Timberlake was in it. I highly recommend it!

Today was the super productive not-sit-down-for-most-of-the-day day. After waking up, I made a quick over-easy egg sandwich and headed to the mountain with Roxi girl. Vince told me of a trail I would like but I ended up not finding it and went off on a random trail. I ended up loving it and it's definitely my favorite trail to hike now. I ran into a couple of mine and Vince's friends up there and asked them what trail it was, and it's one Vince always rides!

Roxanne loved being off leash and quickly tired herself out. I ran about 4 of the 6 miles so I tired myself out as well!

When we got home, I took a quick shower then rode my bike to a restaurant where I was meeting my friend for a late lunch. We sat on the patio and soaked up the sun before the clouds rolled in and it became a little windy.

When I got home, I put laundry away, swept, cleaned the bathroom, etc. Now I'm sitting here on the couch eating a little bit of dinner with Vince. After I finish this I'm going to read a new magazine I bought called Women's Running and then start on The Pact before heading to bed!

Oh, and Happy Easter!

  1. The Pact is a pretty good one I think.
I am always surprised and feel lame saying this, but I actually think Justin Timberlake is a pretty damn good actor. I haven't seen anything yet I didn't like him in... but I have to admit there have been a few movies he's in I just wouldn't watch.
Glad you had a lovely weekend!

    1. I'm sure I'll love it!

And now that I think of it, all the movies I've seen with Justin Timberlake have been pretty good. Surprisingly, it's his voice that drives me crazy, but nothing else after further thought!

    2. Yeah but after I read that again I'm having trouble remembering what all I've liked him in. Bad Teacher was just eh, Alpha Dog was pretty good, what the hell else has he been in?!?!

    3. I HATED Bad Teacher. That was the worst storyline ever, and she didn't even get in trouble in the end! Argh! He was also in the Facebook one? I think that's the only other one I've seen him in haha

    4. Yeah I'm pretty prudish about my movies and Ryan tends to only like raunchy ones lol. I was super grossed out by his "sex scene" in that one and everything else in it was so awful for her to not get in trouble!!
I never saw the Facebook one. I swear I've seen him in other things BUT WHAT?!?! It's pretty possible that I'm basing all of my opinions of him on his Saturday Night Live roles.
