  2. hi i'm not judging you at all, just wondering because i am about to move in with my boyfriend. what is the age difference of you and vince and what is his nationality? and does your family support you guys or was it a struggle at first?

  3. No worries, I would be curious as well! Vince and I are 15 years apart. {Yowza!} As for his nationality, he's American! I assume you are asking about his race/ethnicity though. As he would call himself, he's a 'mutt' if sorts. I'm not 100% sure what his parents are 'made up of' but he's part African American, French, and Mexican...and that's all I know of. I'm pretty sure there's some other stuff thrown in though! I'll have to ask his parents about it one day, because he and I are both curious about it.

Our family definitely supports our relationship. We were 'unofficial' for quite a while because he was so much older and I didn't tell my dad or stepmom about him for quite some time, just because I was afraid, in a sense. My mom knew about him though and didn't care. At first all of my family was pretty shocked and was hesitant about him, but soon they realized how happy we were. They also really trusted my judgement and new that I wouldn't be with someone who was totally bad for me. The fact that we were living on our own and didn't have any help from our family financially also made them realize we were a bit more serious with each other.

And it was a struggle at first, simply because Vince was afraid we would get judged by people. For the first little while he was comfortable holding hands in public, kissing, etc, but he got over it pretty quickly. Having similar interests and a life of our own was definitely helpful with our transition!

There are definitely people in public who don't approve of us, but it's not really too big of a deal because I look way older than I am and he looks younger than he is.

Hopefully this helped you! If you have any more questions definitely email me or leave another comment!
