Ken's Baptism

As I wrote about before, my stepdad Ken's baptism was this weekend! We all braved the crazy roads, which were probably the worst roads I've ever driven on because NOTHING was plowed and it was almost 8 inches deep! We almost didn't make it up the big hill to the church.

But, alas, we did. And it was a beautiful thing.

My mom and Ken with the missionaries:
{Why are some missionaries so cute?}

My papa and Ken.

Me and my brother:

It started out with a prayer, a couple members of the church giving talks on baptism, and then a hymn before we went to the font for him to be baptized.

After the baptism, we all went to my grandparents house and ate some delicious dinner! Everyone, of course, wanted to hold Alyla.

Cutest picture!

And then we went running BAREFOOT in the snow! But that's for another post.

    They are wearing their special clothes to do the baptism. My grandpa was the one to baptize Ken.
