Fashion {or lack thereof}

Here is an outfit I'm proud of, because I'm usually a jeans and t-shirts tank top kind of girl.

I bought this vintage shirt online {sounds so fancy} for $10. I should have known it was not going to fit me, length wise, and it sure didn't. It's been in my cloest for 8 or 9 months now and I was keeping it so I could just use the fabric, because it's super cute, or somehow alter it to fit me.

I got the grey topshirt/sweater thing from Ross for $2, but it had a black undershirt sewn into it. The black shirt wasn't long enough so it was a belly shirt, but the topshirt fit SO perfectly. I cut the black shirt out of it leaving me with the topshirt.

What I did to prevent people from seeing my belly was to just tie the shirt closed! It worked perfectly. I also added a tan belt to my waste to help keep the shirt in place and not have it ride up, thus showing my belly anyways.

I paired the top with a skinny jean {which I got brand new from Savers for $3!!!} and my slip ons. Overall, I was pretty happy with it. It would be fun to dress 'fancy' every day {I know, I know, my outfit was really that fancy} but it seems like I have no where to go that I would need to be 'dressed up' for. If I wear something nice to work the patrons are usually creeps and talk to me inappropriately. Um ya, I'd rather look like crap. Or at least normal.

Also, it takes a lot of effort to look decent!

  3. You can have a wardrobe like mine! I honestly haven't paid more than $10 for a single shirt I own. I get a lot of them at thrift stores for a couple bucks or from Rue 21 on their sales racks. I don't think I have EVER paid for a shirt full price, at least since I've been buying my own clothes.

    I HATE when patrons touch us! It so creeps me out. I hate when the guys reach for my chest wanting to touch my tattoos and I'm just like Gah!! and walk away. Don't be afraid to get one of us if they're too creepy ;) Kelly's so funny, I love her.
