A roundup of some thoughts...
|| I got the darn flu. Saturday night/Sunday morning I woke up and proceeded to throw up basically every hour for the entire morning. Now I'm afraid to eat cheese, chips, and homemade graham crackers since that's the last thing I ate. Grr!
|| To change the topic, can I just say how much I love the new blogger comment system? It's SO much easier to reply to comments, it doesn't take a bazillion hours to load like Disqus did, and it's so sleek! I love it.
|| I'm in the process of rearranging my whole house, basically, and now I want to be a designer with a bunch of money to spend. Oh, the ideas in my head!
|| I'm kind of over school already. I was excited to start the semester but my teachers follow the whole, 'For every hour you spend in class, you will have at least two hours of outside work.' This means for my 6 hour class, I have 12 hours of homework, for my 5 hour class I have 10 hours of homework, and for my 3 hour class I have 6 hours of homework. I've never had a teacher actually follow this rule, but all THREE of my teachers this semester are taking that rule to heart. I never thought I could have so much chemistry, statistics and biology homework! It's completely overwhelming.
|| Despite the fact that I'm kind of over school, I am completely in love with it. When I am smart enough to know the answer to most of the questions my teachers asks the class, I feel pretty confident that I can pass these classes if I continue putting in good study time. (Oh, and I can never say my answer in time because little miss I know everything yet my answers are wrong 50% of the time, but Hey! I'm still going to shout out an answer any time I can who sits a few seats away always shouts an answer out; let someone else answer for once!)
|| Have I said how much I love not having a job at the moment? I'm excited to work somewhere but it's been nice to not have too many things pulling me in so many directions. It's allowed me to blog a lot more because I can write whenever I get inspired to, not in the 2 hour window before I had to go to bed!
|| Our bathroom sink hasn't worked in a few weeks, and Vince finally fixed it! We only use it to brush our teeth, though, because there is a separate hot and cold knob that are a foot away from each other, which makes it impossible to wash my face. (Meaning I wash it in the kitchen sink!) Vince shattered a glass in the sink and the pieces went down the drain which made it not able to drain at all. After it not working for a few weeks, I finally bought a bucket and complained enough to him. (I was afraid to do it because I thought water would fly everywhere for some reason. I pretty much do all the other hangman work in the house though!)
|| I'm addicted to almond butter on apples, for real. And at $7.39 a jar, I wish I hadn't gone through that last one so quickly. BUT, I do love the empty jar and it's my new favorite milk glass.
|| I got a membership to a family gym here in town and I've gone at least five days a week. I finally have a six pack that is peeking it's way through my belly. When I see improvements like that, it makes me want to go to the gym more, add more weights to the machine, and stay longer!
|| I look through the pictures of our wedding every few weeks (I'm such a sap...) and I just love this one. Such a fun night filled with delicious fudge sauce!
And I can't help but to laugh at the expression on my stepmom Pam's face. I love you!! hehe.
Get well soon Steff!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture! I hope you do another wedding photo post soon because I love everything you've put up so far! =]
Thanks, I'm feeling a little better, now I'm just to the 'Oh my gosh, I've been up for way too long, I need to sleep!' part of the sickness.
DeleteI have a couple of wedding posts coming up soon! It's just taken me so long and I finally decided to just split it up into parts! haha
Hope you're feeling better! And almond butter - ohmygosh. Heaven in a jar!

ReplyDeleteAlmoooond butttteeeeer! Guess what I bought at newfro yesterday to go with it. Apples and pumpkin seeds. Boom. Addiction transfer.
Wish I was seeing results like you! 6 days a week is getting old when I don't see much happening. Sigh. I shall continue.
Yes, I'll email them to you! I have to find the disc so I can send you the ones without the logo on them.
DeleteIf there has to be an addiction transfer, at least it's a healthy one! Haha
Definitely continue! It takes time. As long as you are feeling a difference, then that's great!!
