Thanks, iPhone, for that beautiful sunflare!
The Friday after Thanksgiving, instead of staying in town and battling all the crazy shoppers, Vince, Roxanne and I headed down to Sedona. The sweet part was that his work needed a shipment to go down there to their other store, so the trip was paid for! For the time Vince was working he was clocked in and our gas was reimbursed. Score! The only bad thing was that Roxi had to ride down with a ton of boxes. She had her space and an open window, though, so she was happy!
Another bad thing? I forgot my camera. BUT, I used my phone, so at least it's something.
We didn't do too much sightseeing anyways, just enjoyed the drive and time together. Vince wanted to visit a couple other bike shops down there that he had never been to and chat up the owners. One of the shops, was recently opened by a guy he knows, and he had a pump track in the back! Vince was pretty stoked about it and tested it out for a minute.
I tried to go to a couple of candy stores to get some ice cream or chocolate and nothing was gluten free! It was all cross contaminated, which kind of bummed me out. It's probably best that I didn't waste money anyways.
All in all it was a pretty great way to spend Black Friday. Vince wants it to be a tradition, and I have to agree with him! Hopefully in the future we won't be on such a tight budget so we can go out and eat some yummy gluten free food instead of leftover turkey!
I didn't even know I took a picture of that cross, but rest in peace, gone soul!
